SITA Vintage Flieger German 30s-WW2 Luftwaffe 40mm rotating bezel pilots watch

This is a wonderful SITA all original mid 30s (circa 1935) "Flieger" or Pilots original pre war wrist watch. In a over sized 40mm (without its crown) case size, it is a beautiful example with working bi-directional rotation bezel that still boasts its original pointer, beautiful subtle military digits and lovely original cathedral clock style hands. The watch is winding and running well keeping great time (last service date unknown). The watch is very similar to the Zenith special sharing basically the same case, lugs crown and even hands! A very nice looking watch, in stunning vintage condition with no issues. Its snap back and fixed strap bars take a 22-23mm strap.

The dial is hard to photograph being black. So if you require any more close up or other pictures, please ask me.

It comes on a modern NATO band that suits it but can be changed easily to a more period correct one. The watch dimensions are 49mm with crown, 40mm without x a large 51mm across its lugs (12 to 6).

I would prefer collection or meet with this vintage SITA & viewing could possibly be arranged beforehand but I will post insured in the UK..
