One of the more rare Rolex's and definitely one with a story!!! 1940's Rolex Skyrocket, WWII Canadian Issue with the ultra rare combination of, Rolex Cal. 59 movement, Rolex signed caseback, and Rolex Skyrocket dial.
This Skyrocket is currently running and starts up with a few short winds of the crown. Caseback features five distict service marks. The orgial dial has a wonderful patina and fabulous speckling consistent with age. All the scrip and numerals are clear visible and present.
The blued hands share the same patina as the dial with light wear to the lume on the minute hand and paint fade on the second hand. Crystal is clear and free of scratches or mars. The case retains the original gold finish with uniform wear consistent with age.
The stainless steel caseback has light scratches but no significant tool marks or mars. Includes a Bison, hand-stitched leather strap, with case-matching gold-tone buckle.Please be advised, we do not test the accuracy of our watches in +/- seconds per day.
