MEN'S WWII era VINTAGE MILITARY pilot OLMA Numa Jeannin waterproof shockabsorber steel wristwatch circa 1940. MOVEMENT : Original signed high quality 15 jewel wind up Swiss mechanical with "Inca-Bloc", hand winding. CASE : Original stainless steel case, signed ref.

DIAL : Original dial in good condition. SIZE : 30.5 mm (not counting the crown), 37.5 mm long (lugs to lugs).

BAND : new, gray nylon 16 mm. Check out my see video. This unique watch was kept till our time in good condition. Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as described. Photos are of the actual watch.

The watch in an excellent collection condition will suit as expensive gift, and is a stylish acquisition for any collector, will only increase in value, and is a good capital investment and a work of art that will give many years of pleasure. A LITTLE HISTORY: According to Swiss historical information, the brand was started in the early 1900's by Paul Jeannin Bourquin, who already had a long history in watchmaking. Paul Jeannin Bourquin started a business under his son's name, "Numa Jeannin SA, " in the city of Fleurier, Switzerland. The OLMA brand name was registered on 22.1.1926. They started making watches, typical of that era. In 1942, the OLMA watch factory branched out from Numa Jeannin and was named NUMA JEANNIN OLMA S.
