Issued on June 6th, 1967, this specification highlighted the U. Military's need for a legible, accurate, and durable timepiece for use in active combat situations. These watches were produced by American watchmakers Benrus, Hamilton, and Marathon, and were produced between 1967 and the late 1980's.
