1940's Longines- Victory WWII British Air Ministry Royal Air Force Pilots watch. Longines was among some of the earliest watch makers like Agassi, Auguste, Ebauch, Patek Philippe, LeCoultre, and Vacheron. In 1867, Longines was announced by Ernest Francillon in Saint lmier, Es Longines, meaning "long meadows". Longines has produced numerous fashionable Art Nouveau watches and military standard watches throughout American history.
In 1935, Longines developed the Weems and Linberg Pilots watch for the US Navy. Longines also developed several models of Admiral, Conquest, and Grand Prize.
